How to Take a Screenshot on Samsung Galaxy Ace-Screen capture on samsung galaxy ace

I accidentally took a screenshot of my android phone screen. A ScreenCapture folder suddenly appeared in my gallery. I didn’t know how to do it. My phone is Samsung Galaxy Ace with Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS.

Update (again) :

Now I use Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread) OS. I will also tell you how to take screenshot if you use Gingerbread.

But then I know how to do it. It’s very easy. You just need two taps to take a screenshot.

For Froyo:

Hold Back button on the right bottom of your phone. Then press Home button while you holding the Back button. Done!

After you do that, you will hear a capture sound and a notification written ‘Screen captured. Saved as file image.’

Take a look your gallery and you will find ScreenCapture folder where the screenshot images are saved :-)

For Gingerbread:

Hold home button. If Task Manager Dialog appears, tap on back button to close it but still by keep holding home button. Then with your another finger, press power button to capture your screenshot (you still hold home button, don’t you? :-p) . If you success, there will be notification sound and text. Check on you gallery after you finish.

It also works on my friend’s Samsung Galaxy phone that using Froyo. I have tried on Sony Ericsson Experia, and it doesn’t work that way. I don’t know whether it will work on other phones too or not.

Good luck!

UPDATE :

For Froyo:

Some applications will be closed when you press Back button. So, how do you take the screenshot in this kind of situation?

No need to install additional application, we will do it with the tricky way. Here it is.

Before you enter the screen which you want to snapshot, press and hold the Back button.

And with your another finger, you can tap your application to enter the screen which you want to snapshot.

You still hold the Back button, right? Now press the Home button. Then you have your screenshot :-p

I have tried it to capture the screen of Whatsapp chat and Message screen.

Give a try and spread this update to your friends.

TANKS FOR VISITING...........
